^Psst, hey...
I'm not trying to start anything here, but...
Have you noticed how all official communications from the directors of Test Tube Titans seems to use really watered-down language?
>What do you mean exactly?=C4-2-1
>i did. It's a little strange...=C4-2-2

~C4-2-1-1
^Well... that's the interesting question isn't it?
If they talked openly with us about what we're doing, how many of us would feel the same about this work?
I don't know if it would fly...
&C4-3

~C4-2-1
^They're just intentionally vague, trying to maintain this kind of 'corporate climate' to keep everything safe-feeling...
Like how they refer to people's homes as 'obstacles'...
>How else would you go about it?=C4-2-1-1
>You're right. That's weird.=C4-2-2

~C4-2-2
^Exactly my thoughts.
Honestly, I didn't even realize the full implications of our work here until recently. Everything was so simple, wrapped up in corporate jargon.
How could I be so naive?
&C4-3

~C4-3-1-1
^Sorry, I realize that sounded preachy.
I'm as guilty as anyone.
But it bothers me.
And I don't really know what to do about that.
&C4-4

~C4-3-1
^Maybe not... but you might be stuck inside of it.
Do you own a car? Where do you buy your clothes?
Do you use any consumer electronics?
Somewhere along the line you're contributing to a system that inevitably puts a monetary value on lives.
>Nobody's perfect though. Why are you above all this?=C4-3-1-1
>Even if I am, what can I do about that?=C4-4

~C4-3-2-1
^It seems harmless enough, but what it means in the end is that every life is assigned a monetary value.
It's dehumanizing. It's dangerous.
You may not even realize that if it already shaped your world view...
&C4-4

~C4-3-2-2
^In a way of thinking, yes.
But in truth a giant for-profit corporation only answers to its consumers in its own interest.
It's all carefully calculated.
There's no empathy, no love, no humanity to any of it.
&C4-4

~C4-3-2
^No, of course not.
But at the root of any corporate structure it's the same concept.
Profits come first.
>What's wrong with that?=C4-3-2-1
>But a corporation still has to answer to its consumers...=C4-3-2-2

~C4-3
^There's something inherently disingenuous and insidious about the corporate environment...
Time is money.
Lives are money...
And death equals results?
>That's extreme. Not all business is about killing.=C4-3-2
>I don't support that business model.=C4-3-1

~C4-4
^I dunno.
It's really tough trying to see any of this from the outside while standing on the inside.
I think the first step is just seeing the reality of things for yourself.
Try to recognize your impact on the lives of others, both negative and positive.
&C4-5

~C4-5
^Sorry to throw all this at you.
It's not actually fun to talk about, but it is important to talk about it.
I could go on... but I should let you go.
