TROUBLESHOOTING

Q: I have Linux and it says AIR isn't supported when I go to that webpage!
A: Just look for a AIR 2.6 binary in the AIR archive, which is linked to on the page. If you have a 64-bit distro you will need to do some bookkeeping (library installation, etc.) to get AIR working but that is well-documented.

Q: The sound is not playing and I am using a Linux distro.
A: Sometimes there are issues with sound drivers in Linux distros. Try making sure Anodyne is the only program running that would have sound output.

Q: The installer has some weird error about the installer being wrong!
A: Delete all installations of Anodyne you might have and this will usually fix the issue. This will not affect save data.

By default, this default installation path is:

Windows: C:\Program Files\Anodyne (Might be Program Files (x86) if you are 64-bit)
Mac OSX: /Applications/Anodyne.app
Linux: /opt/Anodyne/share

Note: Because of the way Flash handles saves, if you clear browser cookies you will probably clear your saves as well. Not to worry, as we also back up your saves as follows:

Suppose your username is "userName", then your backups will be at:

Windows: C:\Users\userName\.Anodyne
Mac OSX: /Users/userName/.Anodyne
Linux: No backup because sometimes it freezes peoples' games

Normal saves are located at:

Windows: C:\Users\userName\AppData\Roaming\Anodyne\Local Store\#SharedObjects\Anodyne.swf
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Anodyne/Local Store/#SharedObjects/Anodyne.swf
Linux: ~/.appdata/Anodyne/Local Store/#SharedObjects/Anodyne.swf

To restore a backup, just copy and paste the backup save into the normal save directory!
