To finish the install process of your Windows 3.X application, first bring up Windows. Under the File/Run command of either Program Manager or File Manager type on the Command Line: C:\TEMPSKY\INSTALL (and press ENTER or click OK) Note: C: indicates the hard drive. Please substitute the correct drive letter for your individual system. Substitute the correct path if needed. Then just follow the screen prompts to complete the installation. The files inside the temporary directory can be discarded after you have successfully completed the author install. You can delete the files by typing the following series of commands at the DOS prompt: DEL C:\TEMPSKY RD C:\TEMPSKY Substitute the proper drive designation and path if needed. After you type in the DEL command, DOS will ask you "All files in directory will be deleted! Are you sure Y/N?". Make sure that the directory that you typed is correct and type Y to confirm it or N to cancel it. Note that this command as outlined removes all files from the directory specified, so be careful how you use it. The RD (Remove Directory) command removes the empty directory entry.
