DISK #1


This is disk number one of the 2 disk set for
this book. It contains: 

* Graphic Workshop for Windows
* MORPH demo program
* TIF graphics files


NOTE:
Many of the files contained on these disks are stored 
in a compressed format. You must run the installation 
program to install them to your hard drive.

Installation procedure
----------------------------------------------

To install both of the disks, follow this procedure:

1. Insert Disk 1 in your floppy drive. From Windows File 
   Manager or Program Manager, choose File + Run from the 
   menu.

2. Type <drive>INSTALL and press Enter. 
        <drive> is the letter of the drive that contains the 
   installation disk. For example, if the disk in drive B:, 
   type B:INSTALL and press Enter.

3. The install program will present you with the choice of a
   Full Install or Custom Install (where you choose which
   components to install). Choose Full Install.

4. When the installation of the first disk is complete, the
   program will prompt you to insert Disk 2.

Follow the on-screen instructions in the installation program. 
It will notify you when the installation is complete. The files 
will be automatically installed to a directory named \MIP, 
unless you choose to change this name during the install 
program.

* The Morphing demonstration is located in the MORPH 
  subdirectory.

* Graphic Workshop for Windows is located in the GWS
  subdirectory.

  NOTE: 
  Before you can use Graphic Workshop for Windows,
  you must first run its setup program. From within 
  Windows, run the SETUP.EXE program located in the
  directory \MIPS\GWS.
