Use this procedure to configure and manage the logging of system messages on a secondary, remote syslog server.

In the RemoteSyslogAddressType section, click the type of IP address of the remote system log server. |

In the RemoteSyslogAddress box, type the IP address of the remote system log server. |

In the SecondarySyslogAddressType section, click the type of IP address of the remote system log server. |

In the SecondarySyslogAddressbox, type the IP address of the remote system log server. |

Click the Enabled box to enable remote system logging. |

In the SaveTargets section, click the type of system messages. |

On the tool bar, click Apply. |

| SecondarySyslogAddress | Specifies the IP address of the secondary remote system log server to send system log messages to. |
| Enabled | Enables or disables the remote logging of system messages. |
| SaveTargets | Specifies the type of system messages to send to the remote system log server.
