Configuring the path to the help files using NNCLI

Use the following procedure to configure the path to the help files.

Open an NNCLI session.

Enter the Global Configuration mode.

At the command prompt, enter the following NNCLI command:edm help-file-path <path name> <tftp address | usb> <filename>

Variable definitions

Field Description
path name Specifies the path name you created for EDM help files. The path name is stored in NVRAM.
TFTP address Specifies EDM TFTP server IP address.

Use this address only for EDM help files.

If you do not specify a TFTP server address, the system uses the address specified most recently.


Warning WARNING

Because the TFTP server address is stored in NVRAM, each time the system returns to the default configuration, you must reconfigure the path to EDM online help.

usb <unit> Specifies the unit number where the USB mass storage device that contains the help files resides. The unit number is an integer from 1–8.
