Banner tab

The Banner tab controls NNCLI banner display.

To configure the Banner Control, use the following procedure:

Open the Edit Chassis screen in the manner detailed at the beginning of this section.

Select the Banner tab.

Banner tab items

Field Description
BannerControl

BannerControl specifies the banner to be displayed as soon as you connect to a Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5000 Series device. BannerControl has the following three options:

  • The static option causes the predefined static banner to be used.
  • The custom option causes the previously set custom banner to be used when displaying a banner.
  • The disabled option prevents the display of any banners.
