From the Device Manager menu, choose VLAN > Spanning Tree > STG.

The STG dialog box appears with the Globals tab displayed.

Select the STP path cost calculation mode:

  • ieee802dot1dCompatible
  • ieee802dot1tCompatible

Select the STP port mode:

  • normal
  • auto

Check the SpanningTreeAdminCompatibility box to enable 802.1d port learning.

Click Apply.
