Use this procedure to enable and disable global routing at the switch level. By default, routing is disabled.

From the Device Manager menu, selectIP Routing > IP. The IP dialog box appears with the Globals tab displayed. |

To enable routing, select the forwarding option in the Forwarding text box. |

To configure the ARP life time, modify the value in the ARPLIfeTime box. |

Click Apply. |
