NEW SKIES New Heights is the name some have given to the world’s one and only travelling ferris wheel: the one that has come to your hometown at long, long last. No form of payment is required for a ride, simply take a seat inside your carriage (or you may choose to stand if you prefer). The wheel turns just twelve times, to prevent anyone from being lost in the skies for too long at once. Select the time of day you will be taking your ride and consult the chart accordingly. Draw one card for each turn in the sky to find the sight your eyes are most drawn to. Swap out the card you have drawn if you’d rather focus on something different. Record anything and everything that you want to hold onto: in a journal, a sketchbook, an audio log or however else you see fit. As you prepare your means of recording, the carriage starts to move beneath your feet. Please observe appropriate safety measures during your journey. It is time to begin your journey: new skies, new sights, new shapes to see above familiar ground. NEW SIGHTS You may choose to shuffle all of your cards and draw at random, or you may prefer to arrange your card suits like a compass and focus on sights in one particular direction for the duration of your journey. Remember that you may always return to experience New Heights again, to see your favourite sights again or discover an alternative view. ♦️ DIAMONDS a sight in the North ♥️ HEARTS a sight in the East ♠️ SPADES a sight in the South ♣️ CLUBS a sight in the West NEW SHAPES Your eyes are drawn to… A - the shape and size of a familiar building. 2 - a flock of birds in formation. 3 - a spiralling plume of smoke. 4 - something unusual upon a rooftop. 5 - scurrying movement across a branch or wire. 6 - something shining that catches the light. 7 - patterns formed by wisps of clouds. 8 - gaps within the leaves and boughs of trees. 9 - a speck of colour dashing past. 10 - activity outside one of your favourite places.
