"It’s just a big empty now," pronounced League president Felix O’Solomio. "This occurs more often than people think. We don’t know exactly what happens. One moment there’s a parking space, the next moment, there’s nothing. We’ve tried to photograph it, but we usually run out of film too soon. It’s a real problem. When parking spaces vanish like this, who knows what’s next?" Lafey agrees: "You never think this will happen to you. Then it does. And you feel like such a dweeb, but there’s nothing you can do."
