Basically, there are two color models: RGB and CMYK. RGB is meant for monitor display and can be saved as JPG (lossy) or PNG (lossless). CMYK shows how it's going to look when it's printed out, since printers can't reproduce the same bright hues as on a monitor. CMYK can be saved as either JPG (lossy) or TIFF (lossless, but huge). Having only RGB versions of the Disc art is not critical. Anyone who's printing CDs should be able to handle those images, and some printers even convert to CMYK automatically.
